Ok. So it’s been a while since I updated SealNews. The big news over the last year was our new 3rd floor addition we did on our house. We started the process last year with development of the plans. Over the fall we had to get zoning variances from the City as we were outside of the zoning bylaws. No problem with that. Then starting in Feb 2010, we started the work. I won’t bore you with the details, but like a lot of major projects, we had our ups and downs. Biggest downer was that our general contractor bailed on us with the project only about 75% done. But we finally got the project finished this past August/September. I’ve documented in pictures, and you can find them here if you want to look through them.
