Well, all that schoolwork finally paid off. Lisa started working as a teacher in October. For a while there it looked like the job market wasn’t going to be kind. But as often happens, something came up. A half-day kindergarten job was available and after acing the interview, Lisa was hired. She teaching morning junior kindergarten at a school just a few subway stops away from our house. Which is great because she can be home when the kids get home after school.
